If I were to have everything in life that I could ever dream of, an endless stream of money, a beautiful big house in a really rich area of a yuppie city, and everyone looking up to me for my wealth, I wonder what kind of person I would be. Would I become a greedy tycoon, always wanting more and willing to step on others to get it? Perhaps I'd be ego-driven, indifferent to the consequences of my actions as long as my wealth continued to grow. Maybe, my accumulation of wealth stemmed from indiscriminate and unlawful dealings.
On the other hand, would I be the type of person who recognizes that I could never spend all this money or use all these possessions and decides to give back to the less fortunate? Could I shift from being an ego-driven individual to someone who helps others for the good of humanity and my own soul? Perhaps, I'd choose to do these good deeds anonymously, understanding that giving doesn't need public recognition.
It's a reminder that we can't take our wealth with us when we leave, so why not give to the less fortunate now? What stops the rich and wealthy from making a positive impact on the lives of those who struggle to even have a meal? While some contribute to charities, there are countless individuals who are left without basic necessities, often because of societal injustices.
Our collective empathy seems to be lacking, especially when it comes to those who can't afford to eat. If I were rich, I would hope to reflect on what it feels like not to have a meal and extend a helping hand to those in need. The call to action is clear – if you have an endless supply of wealth, give back in a significant way. When you think about passing on your wealth to your family, consider that they might squabble over it, potentially wasting what you leave them. Instead, direct it toward those who really need it.
I may not consider myself a hero, but I try to give when I can, even if it's just buying someone a meal for the day. To those with an abundance, I would encourage them to give a little more; it could save someone's life or, at the very least, provide them with an extra meal for the night. If the wealthy collectively gave a small portion of their wealth, homelessness could be eradicated, and every child could have a safe place to sleep.
The cycle of greed, lies, fraud, deception, and cheating perpetuates, and it's disheartening. I'm fed up with the way wealth circulates in this world. It's time to break the cycle, give back, and create a planet of love, kindness, and freedom from poverty. Regardless of our societal roles, we are all equal, and the treatment of each other should reflect that equality. Let our souls surface, and may the change within us be profound.
In Love, Light, and Blessings.
