In the midst of today's uncertainties, I contemplate the future and wonder if the world we live in will be suitable for our children and their descendants. The recent outbreak of the COVID virus and the subsequent restrictions and lockdowns prompt me to reflect on their necessity. As someone who couldn't receive the vaccine due to a past illness, I question whether our immune systems could combat the virus naturally, as they are inherently designed to do. While acknowledging the severity of some cases, I've observed individuals with mild symptoms, reinforcing my belief in the power of our immune systems.
My journey took a significant turn in 1990 when I was diagnosed with Guillain-Barre Syndrome. At that time, I was driven by the pursuit of wealth and materialism. The sudden onset of paralysis forced me to confront the consequences of letting my ego dictate my life. Guardian angels communicated with me during this period, assuring my recovery and prompting me to reconsider my life's purpose. They emphasized the importance of delving into my soul, understanding my true path, and exploring the concept of death beyond societal stigma.
Hospitalized for an extended period, I had ample time for introspection. While it took years to fully embrace and live my spiritual journey, it was a pandemic that propelled me forward. My experiences, ups, and downs shaped who I am today. My Nan's words echoed in my mind, encouraging me to navigate life's challenges and become the person I was meant to be.
Every illness or virus carries an underlying meaning, a message for self-discovery and transformation. Facing and exploring the meaning behind any condition can lead to profound changes in one's life. Believing in your worth, fighting for yourself, and embracing self-love are crucial steps towards enlightenment.
Florence Scovel Shinn's wisdom resonates: every disease is rooted in a mind not at ease, and transforming thoughts can change the course of the disease. Refusing to give illness a place in consciousness, envisioning a healthy outcome, and maintaining a positive mindset are powerful tools in the journey toward well-being.
I never entertain thoughts about any disease. If I happen to pick something up, like a cold or the flu, and someone asks me how I am, I always reply that I am very well, thank you. I never consider answering that I feel sick even if I am. By doing this, I will heal so much quicker.
Love, Light and Blessings.
