How often do we experience bodily pain, aches, or illnesses like a cold or flu, prompting us to reach for pain relievers or rush to the doctor for prescriptions? From what I've observed, a significant portion of the population, both male and female, tends to resort to these quick fixes. Many fail to introspect and truly connect with their bodies.
Few pause to investigate the root causes of their pain or illnesses. Instead, the majority opts for the simplicity of popping a pill or obtaining a prescription. While acknowledging the necessity of medication at times, it's crucial to explore why the discomfort occurred in the first place, even after the symptoms disappear.
In my youth, I veered far from my spiritual journey, drowning my existence in alcohol, drugs, materialism, and reliance on doctors. My reflex response to any issue was to seek a pill or a doctor's prescription. Interestingly, sometimes the mere act of having a prescription made me feel better. I never questioned the medications or delved into the reasons behind my physical malaise.
While I hold no opposition to the entire medical industry, I harbor reservations against the profit-driven pharmaceutical sector. Fortunately, a growing number of doctors now advocate for alternative therapies, steering away from unnecessary prescriptions. The risk of addiction to pharmaceuticals creates a cycle where one drug leads to another, perpetuating dependency.
Thinking back to six decades ago the alternative therapies and medicines we talk about were what our ancestors, grandparents used to teach us. It was all natural and organic very few harmful chemicals if any back then, we also had an inclination why we attracted the illness.
So, if it's feasible to invest time in understanding the meaning behind bodily discomfort or illness, why aren't more people doing it? The bombardment of external influences, from a young age, conditions us to follow the masses rather than thinking for ourselves. It's essential to reclaim our individuality, engage in practices like meditation or qigong, and allow our souls to guide us.
Connecting with our authentic selves enables us to break free from the masses, thinking independently. This newfound awareness empowers us to address bodily issues promptly and foster overall well-being. When I encounter an ache, pain, or illness (a rare occurrence), I embark on a journey of self-discovery. Researching the ailment, contemplating necessary changes, and utilizing natural remedies like essential oils and crystals become part of my holistic approach. Spiritual practices, including Reiki and qigong energy healing, along with self-love, serve as transformative tools to restore good health.
By delving into our inner selves, listening to our souls, and choosing alternative paths, we can break free from the cycle of dependency on pharmaceutical solutions. Embracing spiritual practices not only aids in immediate healing but also contributes to sustained well-being.
