Escaping from society.

Escaping from society.

Living in today's society often feels like working around the clock in a full-time job. The relentless pressures to meet societal expectations, fit into specific social circles, and juggle careers, families, and friendships are overwhelming. In this modern world, the influences of society, people, and technology can drain our souls, letting the ego rule our lives and obscuring the true purpose of our existence.

Society's demands divert us from the reason we are here on this planet, steering us away from our authentic purpose. This diversion robs us of our true selves and diminishes our deep love for our loved ones, nature, and countless other beautiful things. In the hustle and bustle of modern society, we often find ourselves entangled in superficial or ego-driven love, rather than the profound love that emanates from the soul—the only authentic love.

Breaking free from society's expectations is no easy feat; it requires significant and often uncomfortable changes. Many resist change, but continuing to live solely for careers, technology, and trends can lead to a sense of inexplicable loneliness and even depression. These feelings arise because we are shutting out our souls, letting our lives be dominated by our egos.

Reflect on this: have you ever spent a day immersed in nature, deep within a forest without any phone connection—just surrounded by trees, green grass, flowers, streams, and small wild animals? If so, recall how you felt during that time. The experience likely evoked feelings of bliss, a heightened sense of being alive and in tune with everything. As you left the forest, did you sense a surge of anxiety, returning to the trappings of society?

Remember the feeling that originated from your soul—an absence of pressure from anyone or anything, no technology, and no phones while surrounded by the magic of nature. If you felt this once, your soul came through, and you can rekindle that feeling whenever you choose.

Millions around the world work in busy corporate jobs in bustling cities, where careers and financial success dominate their focus. Many try to impress their peers with wealth and status, even though these colleagues often care little about them. Even within this corporate environment, it's crucial to escape and reconnect with nature occasionally. Doing so allows you to rediscover the real you, preventing careers and corporate greed from absorbing your existence, which is otherwise dictated by time and technology. Engaging in activities like meditation and exploring spiritual healing practices can further nurture your soul.

The benefits to our health and spiritual well-being that stem from spending time in nature are immeasurable. Personal experiences of deep satisfaction and the magic felt within the soul after such ventures are profound. Nature provides a serene setting to resolve inner conflicts, and the absence of societal pressures allows for unfiltered introspection.

Having worked in corporate roles myself, I understand the soul-destroying expectations and challenges faced. Initially focused on accumulating wealth, I failed to consider the toll on my soul. It wasn't until a health crisis paralyzed me that I realized the destructive nature of my pursuit of material success. Society and government had me believe that life was solely about money and possessions, but my soul's awakening during that challenging period redirected my priorities. I now live in alignment with my soul, and the transformation has been extraordinary.

For those contemplating an extended break from the technology-driven, corporate world, I encourage you to have the courage to disconnect. Retreat into nature or a spiritual haven, and upon your return, you will find yourself transformed. Anyone claiming to derive nothing from such experiences may not be entirely honest with themselves. These places allow your soul to shine brightly, bringing forth a light that can blind anyone. Engaging in these soul-nurturing experiences regularly will lead you down a road with less stress, fewer problems, and diminished drama. Most importantly, it will infuse your life with more love and happiness—attributes that radiate from our souls.

Love, Light, and Blessings.
